The oceans and beaches are being impacted the most. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish. Together J.D. STARON and CARPET MAKER are attempting to make a difference with the help of a revolutionary technology that can turn ocean plastic waste into a silk-like yarn, which we call "MONSILK". In collaboration with the Thai government and countless volunteers, we gather plastic ocean waste and turn it into our incredible "MONSILK" yarn.
